Volunteering with C2 Makerspace!
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our makerspace team. Our makerspace is a community-driven space where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, create, and innovate. We offer a variety of workshops, classes, and events that focus on everything from 3D printing to robotics and more!
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community.
We are looking for individuals who are:
Willing to learn and share their knowledge
Friendly and able to work well with others
Available to volunteer
Responsibilities could include (based on experience):
Working with tools and technology
Creative and open-minded about making things
Assisting members with equipment and tools
Teaching classes and workshops
Mentoring new members
Helping with events and projects
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the space
Helping to maintain and organize the makerspace.
Assisting on one of our many supporting committees to tackle operational needs such as IT, marketing, and fundraising

Space Monitor
Space Monitors help create a welcoming and encouraging space for participants and community members to safely engage with learning! Being a friendly face and a helping hand are key to help welcome and support space users throughout their time at C2 Makerspace.

General Volunteer
Being a general volunteer is a great way to be involved with a lower time commitment than a weekly club volunteer. General volunteers may be asked to assist with event setup and clean-up, and/or be around during the event to help out as needed.

Club Volunteer
Club volunteers really start to focus on the skills while volunteering! We encourage working knowledge or experience within the club you are involved with OR the willingness to learn as you assist with the club! Availability throughout the month during club hours is encouraged!
