Game Makers Lab - Summer Camp

Create custom games with drawing, design, and 3D printing!

In this hands-on summer camp, students ages 9–12 will become real game makers as they design, build, and play their own custom games. Campers will explore creativity, problem-solving, art, and beginner 3D design while creating projects they can take home and share with friends and family.

Throughout the week, students will:

  • Design and 3D print custom game pieces

  • Create a travel tic-tac-toe game

  • Draw and build their own memory matching game

  • Develop a colorful racing board game with custom pawns

  • Learn beginner design skills using Tinkercad

  • Explore creativity through art, game design, and hands-on making

This camp is designed to encourage imagination, collaboration, and confidence in a fun makerspace environment. No previous experience with 3D printing or design is required.

Brand Builders Lab - Summer Camp

From product idea to logo, packaging, and digital marketing!

In this hands-on summer camp, students ages 12–15 will explore the creative world of product development, branding, and digital marketing. Campers will work through the process of turning an idea into a real product concept while learning how businesses use design and marketing to connect with customers.

Throughout the week, students will:

  • Develop an original product idea

  • Create a logo and product packaging concept

  • Learn about target markets and customer audiences

  • Build a color palette, slogan, and marketing plan

  • Design graphics for digital and web marketing

  • Hear from real-world designers and business owners about branding and marketing careers

This camp blends creativity, entrepreneurship, graphic design, and real-world business skills in an engaging makerspace environment. No previous design or marketing experience is required.

Give a plain composition notebook a creative makeover! In this hands-on workshop, participants will design and create their own reusable fabric composition book cover using colorful cotton fabrics and beginner-friendly sewing techniques.

Featuring a local small business leading the class!
Limited to 12 participants!
