C2 Makerspace is excited for the fall kickoff of our school clubs!

Clubs are open to students 9-18 from anywhere in the surrounding area, and are free next week, so tell your friends and family and come visit us during our Fall Kickoff!

We are forming a high school robotics club which will evolve into a FIRST® Robotics team competing in the 2024 season. The club is currently meeting on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-8:00pm in Room 465 of the Laird Fine Arts building at UWSP- Marshfield.

The Marshfield Cultural Fair has asked the C2 Makerspace to host an Open House during the Fair on Saturday. We need a few volunteers to help staff the activity stations. All of the activities have instructions and are very easy to supervise. You will just be helping everyone be safe and answer questions.

Are you a maker at heart? Do you love working with technology, tinkering with electronics, and experimenting with new materials? We need you!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our makerspace team. Our makerspace is a community-driven space where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, create, and innovate. We offer a variety of workshops, classes, and events that focus on everything from 3D printing and robotics to woodworking and textiles.

As a makerspace volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of experienced makers, learn new skills, and make a positive impact in your community.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our makerspace team. Our makerspace is a community-driven space where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to learn, create, and innovate. The C2 Makerspace Open House/Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for November 30. We still have work to do to get the space ready for visitors. Please come lend a hand even if you can only stay for a little while. We can really use your help!

We had a great group of friends and sponsors show up last Saturday to help us get equipment out of boxes and set up for use. Representatives from sponsors Hastreiter Industries, Dental Crafters, and Marshfield Utilities, as well as friends from the community showed up early in the morning ready to work. A lot of the details for where equipment was going and how to connect them were still undetermined. In true Makerspace fashion, everyone figured out as we learned about the peculiarities of the equipment and the space.

I think the space looks great so far, and I’m excited to get the rest of the furniture in so we can open!

The Makerspace is getting close to opening, but I need some help!

A lot of equipment has come in recently and I need help getting everything set up. We are hosting a tour on October 14 and we would like the Makerspace to be as complete as possible.

Please consider stopping by and lending a hand, even if you can't stay for long.
