Exploring different fills in sewing.

We explored props in the fall, and will be moving on to costumes this winter. Participants will be selecting a favorite theater, computer game, or movie character and will create their own version of their costume. Participants will learn design concepts, basic sewing techniques, other construction techniques and will gain an understanding of what things to consider when designing a costume for various applications. Club members will also have the chance to explore miniature construction for stop motion animation as well as work on different types of props for theater.

You will have use of the C2 Makerspace sewing machines, dress forms, vinyl cutters, 3D printers and more. Everything you need to make your next level Cosplay, theater costume or props, plus experienced leaders to help you along the way.
